Mrs. Gordon was my high school geometry teacher. She was such a wonderful teacher and spent extra time with me as I struggled with math. Now I work in a job that is primarily math! Thank you Mrs. Gordon. You are remembered fondly.

Linda was my counselor at Tagola & my math tutor when I attended Forest Hills High School. She was my dear friend and our friendship continued until she married Mal & had kids. I visited her in her first house. She was so proud of that house, Mal, Jeffry & Pamela.
She was my friend, older sister stand in and always happy to chat, share & laugh. We lost touch when she moved to Chicago & I always tried to find her for our camp reunions, because she embodied what camp was about.
Several years ago I found her again in Florida & we had a lovely lunch.
I send condolences to Mal, the kids & extended family. I loved that lady.

My condolences to Linda’s family. Linda and I spent many hours of our girlhood together, sharing secrets and being friends, as high school girls will do. She was a beautiful person, smart, funny, and loyal. I will miss her. May her memory be a blessing for her family.

I had the incredible privilege of having Linda as my mentor teacher during my student teaching at Highland Park High School. Linda was notorious with the students for being firm but kind… but certainly her students will always remember her for being able to draw a perfect circle on the board freehand!
She was the most incredible mentor imaginable and a very sweet friend. I will always keep her advice close to my heart. I am so saddened by this loss, and I pray that loving memories will comfort Linda’s family during this difficult time.

Linda Gordon was such a sweet and caring person who welcomed me into the math department during my first year teaching at HPHS in 1994. Although I only spent one year stationed in the math department, Linda was always so generous with her encouragement and kindness. It was wonderful to see former students come back to visit her just to say “hi” because she connected with them. She was a role model for me and so many others around her. I am unable to attend the Shiva due to a semester exam at the same time. Zikhronah Livrakha. May her memory always be a blessing.
